I had the pork katsu, and we ordered sushi for the table, along with tempura, and beef wrapped asparagus. Very delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive.

I stopped in here while staying at an Airbnb that was close and I was beyond happy with everything about my visit! The friendly and helpful staff, absolutely exquisite food, the inviting atmosphere, everything was just awesome. The sushi chef was skilled beyond belief and took great pride in his work. It will truly go down as one of the best food experiences I've ever had. Thank you!

Ordered takeout. In most other places I went to, salmon is almost the only type of fish that is fresh enough. But the fish here is SO GOOD! Finally some real fresh yellowtail and legit O toro that you can see the rich, beautiful white veins of fat, and taste that signature sweetness. The cut was generous too, well matched the price range. Very satisfied.

Great service for our large(ish) group of 7. Our server checked in with us, handled the multiple credit cards with panache, and did it all with a smile. The bento lunch is stupendous, but I can't resist a good katsu donburi.

Wonderful date night experience with my wife. Staff service was a little bit slow, but the food selection and flavors were excellent. Highly recommend the oyster shooter and the gyoza as part of the meal we had. Very delicious and flavorful.

This is my go-to sushi place in Evanston. Love the variety and quality of the rolls. They also do their deliveries in-house so you can order from them without DoorDash etc. tacking on a boatload of fees which is nice - but I would probably still order from there even if I had to use a delivery app.

The cost is definitely more pricey than the quality. Nice presentation but very small portions esp the appetizers. We spent $$$ but the surprise birthday treat was so underwhelming. The other food including desserts are ok, nothing memorable. We go to a lot of Japanese places in the north shore area. Not sure we'll be back.
